The Zomerhofkwartier is a hidden place in Rotterdam nearby the Central Station. It’s hidden status is one of its qualities. The area has hard edges and a soft inside. This combination is the basis for our vision of the area: the whole area is considered as one building.
The public space and the plinths of the buildings acts as a “flexible skin” that can be utilized for the needs of the companies. ZoHo can become more than a collaboration of companies. It can have a function for care and social gathering for the neighborhood.
